If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it or exchange the product. You will be credited for a full refund of the product price, with no hassles, upon receipt of the return. All products must be returned in new and sellable condition in their original retail packaging. Exchanges will be done at the full original purchase price with no restocking fee*. All purchases must be returned within 30 days for a full refund. We do not accept returns or exchanges for international shipments.

Accepted Methods of Payments:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover; Personal & Business Checks (allow 10 days to clear). For your protection on some orders we may require that a photocopy of both the front and back of the credit card be faxed to us prior to the order being shipped.

Shipping & Handling:

Although we can not do so with each and every order, we make every effort to ship your order the same day. We are able to ship most orders via ground, 3 Day, 2 Day or Overnight services. We use UPS for most of our package deliveries. In some cases we will use USPS to process ground APO requests; larger items may be shipped by air freight or common carrier.  However, we do not provide insurance for these items. Please proceed with this in mind.

We utilize multiple shipping partners to facilitate the shipping of some items. This is done to help maintain adequate inventory levels, to keep our costs to a minimum when dealing with large or otherwise bulky items, and to increase our offerings with uncommon or seldom requested items.

We sometimes offer “free shipping” promotions. During these events, free shipping applies only to ground services and will exclude certain items (primarily large, bulky or items with excessive weight). Orders processed without freight, or where freight has been waived, will be charged actual shipping expenses in the event of a return, and these shipping charges are not subject to return credit.

International Orders:

ALL international orders will be sent via UPS to the billing address on the credit card without exception. All packages will be sent signature required.


Leatherdesksets.com, a division of The Elegant Office Inc, is not responsible for packages lost, damaged or seized by customs. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on items shipped internationally. Shipments may take up to 6 weeks for delivery. Please call or email us if you have any questions about international ordering.

Returns & Exchange Policies:

For obvious reasons, orders that have been shipped but not yet received by you cannot be cancelled. You can, however, return them within the terms of this document once you receive the merchandise.

Holiday Extended Returns & Exchange Policies:

Purchases made between November 1 st and December 15 th will be allowed to be returned through January 15 th . All other terms and conditions are applicable.

Guaranteed Holiday Delivery:

To accommodate last minute purchases, at times we may offer Guaranteed Holiday Delivery. Though it rarely happens, on occasion we are unable to deliver as promised. In that event, we will fully refund the price of your shipping, plus 10% of your purchase price (up to a maximum of $200). Though we hope it does not happen, in the event we do fall short, we will gladly honor our guarantee.

All returns must be made within 30 days of reception.

Please call for a RMA (Return Merchandise Number) for all returns, damaged or not. All returns must be made within 30 days of receiving the product. If your merchandise arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. You must call for an RMA prior to returning any merchandise. Merchandise returned without an RMA will be Subject to a 20% restocking fee. Damaged merchandise may be exchanged for a replacement item without a restocking fee. If you need to return undamaged merchandise, it must be resalable; and be in the originally sealed packaging.

RMA numbers are only valid for 10 business days of issue. All orders must arrive at our facility within 10 days of the RMA number being issued.

Returns must:

You must call for an RMA prior to returning any merchandise. Merchandise returned without an RMA will be Subject to a 20% restocking fee.

The RMA number must be clearly written on the box or shipping label.

A copy of the pending credit memo must be included with all returns.

Be in original packaging which includes all internal packing.

Be in original retail box, undamaged and unmarked. Packages returned with postage stickers on retail packaging will be refused and cannot be refunded. Any shipment that arrives where the retail package has been used as the shipping container will be refused. Please take care of the retail box.

All merchandise, except gift certificates, can be returned in the original packaging materials. Note that shipping and delivery charges are not refundable.

Product must be resalable as new merchandise.

When packaging merchandise for return, please provide adequate protection to ensure all pieces arrive in new, resalable condition. We are not responsible for damage in transit due to poor or inadequate packaging.

Credit will be less freight and any applicable restocking fees. Orders processed without freight, or where freight has been waived, will be charged actual shipping expenses in the event of a return, and these shipping charges are not subject to return credit.

Custom orders cannot be returned. In the event that a custom order is damaged in shipping we will replace the items.

We cannot accept returns on personalized or debossed items. In the event that a personalized or debossed order is damaged in shipping we will replace the items.

Special orders cancelled after 24 hours of purchase are subject to a 15% order cancellation fee.

We can only refund money to the original purchaser. If item was received as a gift the items may be exchanged for different items. However to receive any cash back the return must be made by the original purchaser.

Gift Certificates:

Gift Certificate(s) are neither refundable nor returnable. Lost, stolen or damaged Gift
Certificates may be canceled and replaced with appropriate proof of purchase. Gift certificates expire 18 months after purchase.

Gift Cards:

Orders process with free gift card service or where the fee for this service has been waived will be charged $4.75 in the event of a return, and this service charge is not subject to return credit.

Warranty:

1 Year Warranty

Leatherdesksets.com, a division of The Elegant Office Inc., warrants that The Elegant Office brand products are free from defects in materials or workmanship. Leatherdesksets.com will repair or replace with comparable product, at its option and free of charge, any product, part, or component which fails under normal use as a result of such defect. This warranty applies from the date of sale, and is valid only for the original purchaser.

Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to product failure resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Failure to apply, install, or maintain products according to published The Elegant Office instructions and guidelines

  • Abuse, misuse, or accident

  • Alteration or modification of the product

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE REMEDY FOR PRODUCT DEFECT AND NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY IS PROVIDED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. LEATHERDESKSETS.COM, A DIVISION OF THE ELEGANT OFFICE , INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY PRODUCT DEFECT.
